Alpha Decay
Alpha Decay is a French sound engineer and modular synth addict based in Barcelona.
Her live performances range from ravy, high-energy electro sets to down-tempo broken rhythms and glitch-based textures.
She has performed at several European festivals such as Modular Day Barcelona, EnsoLab, LEM, Dutch Modular Fest (Nederlands), Avara (Finland), MEM (Portugal), as well as in night sessions like Razzmatazz Club, opening for Anthony Rother.
She works with roboticist Moritz Simon Geist, merging sonic robots and modular sound, has performed for Butoh, contemporary, and flamenco dance shows, and often collaborates in duos with acoustic musicians such as violinists, saxophonists, double bass players, or drummers.
In 2020, she created Wave Game, a system that generates modular music from light and body motion.
Always open to new live performance experimentations, she uses a fully modular setup to explore noise, dynamics, and signal processing, shaping forms between chaos and harmony.

Alpha Decayは、バルセロナを拠点に活動するフランス人サウンドエンジニア兼モジュラーシンセ愛好家です。
彼女のライブパフォーマンスは、レイブでハイエネルギーなエレクトロから、ダウンテンポのブロークンリズム、グリッチベースのテクスチャまで多岐にわたります。Modular Day Barcelona、EnsoLab、LEM、Dutch Modular Fest（オランダ）、Avara（フィンランド）、MEM（ポルトガル）など、ヨーロッパの数々のフェスティバルに出演したほか、Razzmatazz Clubなどのナイトセッションにも出演し、Anthony Rotherの前座を務めました。
ロボット工学者のMoritz Simon Geistと共同で、音響ロボットとモジュラーサウンドを融合させた作品を制作し、舞踏、コンテンポラリーダンス、フラメンコダンスのショーにも出演しています。また、バイオリニスト、サックス奏者、コントラバス奏者、ドラマーなどのアコースティックミュージシャンとのデュオでのコラボレーションも積極的に行っています。
2020年には、光と体の動きからモジュラーミュージックを生成するシステム「Wave Game」を制作しました。
常に新しいライブパフォーマンスの実験にオープンな彼女は、完全モジュラーのセットアップを使用してノイズ、ダイナミクス、信号処理を探求し、混沌と調和の間の形を形成します。
